Day 458 Pyjama

Jennifer has the worst sense of fashion. She put a pyjama on me!
Great now the cat is laughing at me!
She gave me doggy ice-cream to make me forgive her. I think I need a few of those before I change my mind!
The pyjama is upside down!!

Day 457 Excystation

So today we went to the to take away the little ball-mass in my belly. I remember Jen weighing me, then putting me on the table, getting an injection... and I remember nothing after!
I want to leave I want to leave I waaaant too zzzzzz

I woke up kind of feeling woozy. I was home in my bed. I tried to walk but the bedroom kept moving and I fell. Jen put me back to bed.

The only thing working properly was my tail wagging
when I heard Jen speaking on Dajan sniffing
My wound

Everything was blurry for a while, I didn't understand everything happening.

Aaah haaa lights...
Why is everything spinning?
I stumbled across the room and got stuck in front of the garden door. Jen thought I was pointing outside so she picked me up and put me in the garden.

Waah dude, so much grass...
Falling back asleep in sitting position
I eventually did manage to pee, so Jen took me back in and I conked out for the night. :)

(Story from Jen: Mety got butorphanol + medetomidine, and after falling asleep she received ketamine. The mass on the stomach was not an incysted stick as was suspected, but a dry mass (no liquid) that had kind of connective tissue colors but more organized. It seemed it was previously fistulated but not anymore (the probe met a blind end in direction to the abdomen but stopped after 2 cm) The doctor said he didn't know what it could be and kept a sample for histological examination)

Day 456 Spring garden

It's spring again, the trees are budding!
Like every year, Jen prepared her garden patch today. We all helped.

Dajan helped by staring at Jen
and putting pressure on her.
I helped by bringing the ball (essential!)
Jan telepathically helping.
I made a hole and planted a ball. Hopefully I'll get a ball tree

Woof it was tiring, thank god Jen has us to do all the work!

Day 455 Summer fetch

Normal fun day. We went to the fields and played fetch until our tongues touched the ground! We like bringing the toy to Jan because he throws further. Jen sucks.

Dajan is faster but I get the toy more often because I cheat and I leave earlier. Jen sees this and throws the toy in another direction, but Jan is nice and throws it in an anticipable way most of the time.
Tongues don't fit in mouth, mission complete!

Day 446 Spring shedding

It's warm, we don't need out coats anymore! Jan and Jen put their coats on the coathanger, Dajan and me put it... everywhere hehe.

So we went outside for a full body brushing. So at home, for at least 1 hour, there won't be fur everywhere.
Gulp gulp gulp
In the Kralovo Pole shopping center, there is a Harley Davidson exhibit. Jan likes motorbikes so he went to try them.

I wonder how that would work. Would Dajan drive, and Jan tell her as usual "straight, left, right"?

Day 442 Studying Swine diseases in the Baba Forest

Jen went to study outside so I would not be too bored while she studies.
Off to the woods!
But she didn't want to be constantly monitoring me, so we went off the beaten path to the middle of nowhere (we went so far off the path that we were almost near another path).
Jen, pretending to study
I had got myself busy for a couple hours. I tried to bring sticks to passerbies or bring a pinecone to Jen. But today was not much of a fetch day. Unstead I found other things to do

Animal watching

Ladybugs, bugging me :)
Horses passing by

 Fighting the heat
Digging a fresh spot
Drinking a lot of water
Jen bored of studying and taking pictures.

We followed the horse tracks on the way back. I can also be a horse! (not very good for being a guide dog)

There is an aerodrome next to the forest. We watched a few launches/
I believe I can fly...
I don't know if Jen learned a lot of pig medicine, but I had fun at least! :)

Day 438 Science and physics

It's a little wet outside.
Yeaaaaah so a lot wet. It's a mess outside.

I combine many talents. As you can see, I write this blog, hence I am a literary dog. But in fact I am also very interested in science.
Here's something fun. The laws of physics dictate, when two systems have different water balance, nature makes a way so an equilibrium is reached. In this case water equals mud, and nature equals myself. In other words, I bring nature and science in the house. How poetic isn't it?
Just doing my duty
You can barely see where I sat
Jen tried to take out all the water from my fur, but I think she took the fur out of my water!

Day 431 Holy Mety

I am holy!
Saint Mety
Jen doesn't believe me and says this is probably blasphemy
Well I am not holy in the sacred meaning, it's just I have a hole in me. Literally! Majka discovered I had a lump, and it was an abcess so she drained it (Jennifer didn't even notice it, she is such a bad mommy!)
The hole is deep, at least 3-4cm

I just lie down and let her do her business
Betadine yuck
So now Jen injects iodine/water into the whole to clean it. I do a good job of trying to get it dirty (it's muddy outside) and she takes all the dirt away twice a day!
Tail wagging so fast that it's a blur
I made a new friend today. I brought her a stick. The stick and the friend were approximately the same size. I don't know why, but she had a bit of trouble throwing the stick more than 5 cm...
